The church stood near the confluence of the Hlushets and the Styr and was the first to greet merchants arriving in Lutsk by water; its cemetery became their final resting place. In 1574 Abbot Hryhorii is mentioned, and the last documentary evidence of the church's activity dates to the mid-17th century.
