Church of St Demetrius
Next to the former Lutsk prison · Orthodox
From ruins next to the future Lutsk prison to the archaeological discovery of 1968: the excavation revealed the church's foundations and burials of the 14th–16th centuries. After the fire of 1845 the church long stood in ruin; in the 1890s its remains were dismantled. Versions attributing the founders to the 12th–13th centuries remain disputed.
