Church of St Peter the Apostle
Opposite the bridge at the exit from the Upper Castle, now Castle Square · Orthodox
The church has almost vanished from the sources: an act of 1586 mentions the "empty plot of St Peter's church," while a description of 1607 locates the former churchyard opposite the bridge at the exit from the Upper Castle. The remains of this site now lie beneath the paving of Castle Square.
