The church probably stood beyond the town gates, in the area of present-day Kryvyi Val. In 1598 it first appears in acts, and an inventory of 1607 already describes the church as dilapidated; one of its bells was given to the Prechystenskyi Monastery. The churchyard was leased out in 1610–1618.
